Jessey, Founder

Jessey (or Teacher Jessey, as some of her students would call) may be petite and often mistaken as young and green, she has been in the education industry for more than 15 accumulative years. She first started out as a part-time mathematics tutor while still undergoing her tertiary education, and continued to do so even after her graduation.

It was until 2010, she began teaching full-time, including music piano. Her experiences have allowed her to adopt different teaching methods catering to students with different needs.

While acknowledging that education in Singapore is one fast-paced and competitive environment, Jessey also believes that Mathematics skills are essential for life skills, thus solidifying its foundation is crucial and shouldn't be taken lightly. Seeing how the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the learning journey of many young children, she began building Maths is Fun to help those who need more options and tools in recovering their learning journey. She is currently still active in teaching, and at the same time dedicating her free time developing and keeping up-to-date on the curriculum for Maths is Fun e-learning platform.
